THE DIRECTOR (WHO IS ALSO THE MAIN TEACHER)
Behind MAISON PAPILLON, a passion for French and teaching.
" I am Alexis PAPILLON, a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher, educational engineer and specialist in psycholinguistics. Passionate about sharing the French language and the richness of Francophone cultures, I have made teaching and supporting learners the heart of my professional journey.
With more than ten years of experience teaching French to international learners, I have had the opportunity to work in a wide range of educational settings, including internationally in South Korea for example. Throughout my career, I have supported learners from all over the world, each with their own story, goals and relationship with the French language.
I have also had the privilege of working with a particularly diverse and international clientele, including members of royal families, actors and political figures, whom I have accompanied in their learning and mastery of French. These experiences have taught me the importance of discretion, adaptability and a truly personalized approach, particularly when language learning is closely connected to demanding personal or professional contexts.
Alongside this work, I have delivered French language training for professionals and teams from leading international companies, including Coca-Cola, Adidas, TotalEnergies, Roche, Appel, Bayer, AstraZeneca, Medtronic, Guerlain, Randstad, Just Eat etc. Working with professionals from such varied fields has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the linguistic, cultural and professional challenges faced by international learners.
These experiences have shaped my vision of teaching : an approach that is both rigorous and caring, structured yet engaging, where every learner can find their place and progress at their own pace.
For me, learning a language is about much more than mastering grammar and vocabulary. It is also about building confidence, daring to communicate, discovering another culture, opening up to others and creating meaningful connections.
With MAISON PAPILLON, I would like to take this approach even further by offering every learner personalized support in an environment where they can learn with joy, grow with confidence and, above all, enjoy speaking French.
